Nexus among Crypto Trading, Environmental Degradation, Economic Growth and Energy Usage: Analysis of Top 10 Cryptofriendly Asian Economies

The higher discharge of carbon emissions in environment is endangering human life as well eco system. With the emergence digital technology, crypto trading and blockchain technologies are also causing paradigm shift technological needs, however, parallel, creating unresolved environmental problems especially top 10 crypto-friendly Asian economies due to percentage poisonous emissions. Thereby, study attempts scrutinize nexus among crypto-trading, degradation, economic growth energy usage. CO2 taken a proxy degradation context friendly economies. data extracted from WDI coin market cap covering period 2012-2020. article applied CS-ARDL technique order find association between variables short long run. Granger Causality test out causality constructs. Findings expose that bi-directional exists emission usage, hence, disturbing sustainability high paper suggests policy makers other institutional officers de-socialize those block chain which consumes use green technology their substitute. This helps reduction damages.
